Description:
The Morristown High School Class of 2020 Resilience Scholarship is awarded to a senior planning to attend an accredited college or trade school for post-secondary education. The scholarship will reward a student who has shown resilience and perseverance in the face of hardship while balancing the academic demands of school. It honors the MHS Class of 2020, who demonstrated these characteristics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This scholarship is sponsored by the Project Graduation committee. The MHS Class of 2020 was unable to celebrate together on graduation night at Project Graduation. This scholarship was created to remember and commend this sacrifice and all others made by the 460 graduating seniors that year.

Morristown High School staff nomination answering the question: Why is this student an ideal example of showing resilience in the face of adversity?
Selection Process:
To be considered for this scholarship, students must be nominated by a staff member of Morristown High School. MHS staff is asked to share an essay describing why the student was nominated and must describe how this student has shown resilience in the face of adversity. Submit the essay to scholarships@morrisedfoundation.org.
